3 Lives Journey has been in development in one form or another for the past 12 years or so. Kui's story started as a short story assignment for creative writing in grade 10 english, my favorite subject. She was a final, and I got an A on her. She was actually born as a study hall doodle before her story ever came about. I still have that original picture which is featured in the gallery section on this site.
After that initial short story I still felt like she had more story to tell, and boy did she! She became a mascot character for me, and even at times when I wasn't trying to pen her adventures, she was still being drawn in various time periods, clothing and circumstances. Eventually a world rose up around her, as well as friends and enemies to populate that world with her. Since the beginning only two characters have remained constant, Kui, the heroine, and Calthrin, the villan. Most characters that populate the world were born very shortly after, within a year, of the birth of Kui. Only Madame Farish and Bernarhd Boothe were born within the last year or so.
Over the years I've written and rewritten the story so many times It's unbelievable. The core of it has remained the same however, the journey of a girl in search of her identity. Along the way she will meet friends and enemies, and some who may be both.
